Counselling can help you understand what is driving your anxiety, recognise unhelpful patterns and develop practical ways to manage difficult thoughts, feelings and physical responses.
Anxiety can look different for everyone. You may experience:
You don't need to wait until anxiety becomes overwhelming before seeking support.
Counselling is tailored to you, focusing on both the symptoms of anxiety and what may be contributing to them.
Depending on your needs, I draw on approaches including CBT, ACT, EMDR and person-centred counselling to help you develop practical strategies, manage difficult emotions and change patterns that may be keeping anxiety going.
Where anxiety is connected to past experiences or trauma, EMDR therapy may also be considered.
With over 20 years of counselling experience, I provide a warm, practical and individualised approach to counselling.
I work with adults and young people experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm and related difficulties.
