My own life journey has shaped the compassion and depth of understanding I bring to my work. It has taught me how to truly listen to people’s stories, their struggles, and the big emotions we all experience at different stages of life. Each phase brings its own challenges. Early on, we may need support navigating relationships and choosing a partner. Later, we may seek guidance around career paths, fertility, parenting, or family life.
Life can also throw unexpected curveballs, such as ADHD, loss, anxiety, depression, that can leave us feeling overwhelmed and stuck. We all cope in different ways, but having a safe, non-judgemental space to talk things through can help quiet the mind, reduce overthinking, and restore clarity. I am deeply passionate about mental health and about supporting people to feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I have worked as a counsellor in private practice for over 20 years. Since 2017, I have also been part of an executive team within a private medical practice, working collaboratively alongside a General Practitioner and a Psychiatrist. I am an Accredited Member of the NCPS (UK) and the NZAC (New Zealand), and I am committed to providing ethical, professional, and compassionate care.
