EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) is a special therapeutic technique that can be a very powerful treatment for people who have experienced trauma or are struggling with other distressing conditions.

My journey gave me compassion to be open to other people, and the big emotions we might face. Different times in our lives bring different challenges. When we start off in life, we might need help choosing a partner, later in life, we might need help with, our careers, fertility, children, ADHD, death, anxiety, depression and feeling overwhelmed with curveballs like COVID. It may be very difficult to come to terms with these challenges and it is completely normal to feel overwhelmed. We all deal with things in different ways and sometimes it helps to verbalise our thoughts in a safe space that frees our minds from overthinking. I feel passionate about mental health.
I have been working as a Counsellor in private practice for more than 20 years. I have been part of an executive team in a Private Medical Practice since 2017 where I have been working with a General Practitioner and Psychiatrist. I am an Accredited Member of the NCS, ACC, and PTUK.

The online discovery session takes 20 minutes. It will be a session to discover if, and how I can help you as an individual or as a couple.
These sessions are for people who, for whatever reason, do not find a regular, medium or long-term therapeutic commitment helpful or accessible.
The counselling sessions are done via Zoom. Each session lasts 45 minutes. Zoom allows you to have a face-to-face appointment from the comfort of your own home.
